Milford Former Teacher Pleads Guilty to Child Pornography Possession, Faces Up to 20 Years in PrisonSource: Google Street View

A former second grade teacher from Milford has entered a guilty plea to possessing a trove of child pornography, federal authorities announced. Vincent Kiejzo, 36, admitted to the charge in federal court in Worcester, setting the stage for a sentencing on April 4, 2024, by U.S. Senior District Court Judge Timothy S. Hillman.

Arrested in September 2020 following a search at his home, Kiejzo was found with over 6,000 graphic images, some featuring infants. A USB drive in the defendant's bedroom connected to a TV revealed links to websites trafficking in the sexual abuse of minors. Kiejzo, who was indicted by a federal grand jury in October 2020, remains behind bars awaiting his fate, as per the Justice Department.

If convicted, Kiejzo faces up to 20 years in prison, between five years and lifetime on supervised release, and could be slapped with a fine up to $250,000. Federal sentencing guidelines, along with statutory factors, will influence the court's final decision on Kiejzo’s penalty.

Acting U.S. Attorney Joshua S. Levy, together with Michael J. Krol, of Homeland Security Investigations in New England, announced Kiejzo’s plea. They credited the Milford Police Department for their cooperation and Assistant U.S. Attorney Kristen Noto of the Worcester Office for leading the charge. The disturbing case stems from a national effort called Project Safe Childhood, a DOJ initiative launched in 2006 aimed at stamping out the exploitation and abuse of children, with federal, state, and local agents working in concert to bring perpetrators to justice and rescue victims.
